LAMBSKIN
PERFECT CREATION OF MOTHER NATURE.
Sheepskin is quite simply one of Mother Nature’s perfect creations. No other natural or manmade fiber possess the virtues of natural sheepskin. The unique combination of the sheep’s leather skin on one side and wool fur on the other offer remarkable properties: leather-wool combination that never sags, always retaining its shape, cooling in summer and warming in winter, wool does not shed, has no static electricity, it is wind proof and water resistant. Sheepskin is one of the few raw materials that nature will never exhaust. In terms of basic human needs, it has incredible value as a food source, protective clothing, and in some cultures shelter.
We use leather of young domestic lamb in the area of eastern Serbia: mountain Stara and mountain Homolje. This lamb breeds provide the best hides for our products for many reasons. Skin side of leather is characterized by a strong texture and wool itself is very dense and retains its shape. This is a perfect material for manufacturing quality sheepskin products, which must endure a lot of wear and tear, yet keep its shape and good look.
